a moment of reflection with the infamous k-town. i can’t thank you enough for the countless hours you have worked, the inspiration you helped materialize…and the friend i have gained.

the time has come for me to make a shot out for some new individuals that are looking for internship opportunities.

i in no way had any influence in the character you see above. i asked if i could take a couple pictures of him, he got excited and scurried over to his white van and whipped out his animal skin hat. the expressions that followed were 100% genuine – 100% him. after catching about every third sentence he had to say, i politely asked if i could take one serious portrait (the last of the series).
meeting incredible people in incredible places…this is what road trippin in america is all about.

this is my return to Bannack Montana after almost a decade…only this time i had some incredible models to bring along with me.

my wife and i and our two lil’ monkeys will be out causing some mischief from the 21-25th.

this shoot is round two for april and i. i shot her first portraits about 4 years ago and they were all b&w with a very dark and moody heavy contrast. she approached me for another session and said she wanted to punch it up with some color (i think you’d agree we satisfied the request quite lovely.)

this portfolio of family photography is the result of all those that participated in our christmas-end-of-year sale. up until now, i seriously don’t think i have ever photographed so many families in one given month. it was such a great opportunity to be with you all, and just for an hour or two of your time to be welcomed into your world and share what is the most important thing in this life – family and loved ones.
i send a heart felt thank you and wish you the best as we celebrate this christmas season with those that we love.
